YEREVAN. - Armenia’s population puts greatest trust in Russian goods (35% of respondents), according to “EDB Integration Barometer 2015.” 

Among other countries, goods from Germany (25%) and US (18%) enjoy greatest popularity with Armenia.

According to the research, production imported from CIS countries enjoys greatest trust in Armenia. Specifically, 36% of Armenian respondents showed preference for goods from CIS. At the same time, 33% and 34% preferred goods imported from EU, and other countries respectively.  The research says that the trust of Armenian citizens towards local goods has grown in comparison with last year (from 18 to 30%).  

Over 11,000 citizens from nine countries of the region – Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldavia, Russia, Tajikistan and Ukraine – took part in the research this year.
