Two local residents suspected of raping an Azerbaijani citizen were arrested in Turkey’s Samsun province.
According to the information, A. J., 27, arrived in Turkey last week for treatment, but B.A., 35, and M.S., 36, fraudulently lured her to one of the houses and raped the victim for two days, Haberler.com reports.
The Azeri woman told the police she had stopped the car in Ilkadim region and asked to take her to the hotel, but the driver took her to an empty house in another district. Saying that the “passenger fare was not that important,” he carried out coercive actions of sexual character towards her.
Following this, he phoned his acquaintance. Together they locked the woman in that house and raped her during two days, after which they left her by one of the hotels and escaped. The woman then headed to the police station and wrote a complaint. The suspects have been arrested and investigation is underway.
