YEREVAN. – A forensic psychiatric evaluation has been commissioned in connection with a Russian citizen’s suicide attempt at the US Embassy in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

The Police news service informed the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They also informed that the investigation is still underway, and the details of this incident will be provided thereafter. 

The Embassy press service had informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Embassy security staff had observed a 29-year-old Russian citizen making an unauthorized intrusion onto the Embassy compound on Wednesday afternoon, and he seemed to be disturbed. 

And the Police had informed that a 29-year-old man on Wednesday had tried to commit suicide at the US Embassy in Yerevan. The said Armenian man, who is a Russian citizen, had threatened to hurt himself. Fortunately, he could not complete his intention.
