YEREVAN. – Russia is the closest partner of China in the international arena, and Armenia has great opportunities for closer cooperation with China in bilateral and multilateral formats, deputy director of the institute of international relations Guan Guyhay said in Yerevan.

In the past, unlike nowadays, China mainly acted as a recipient of foreign investment.

“The success of China's open policy is a positive impact of economic globalization,” he said during a discussion on China's economy held within the framework of international forum of MGIMO graduates.
