American, Saudi Arabia and Turkish partners are still refusing to work on joint coordination of military actions in the sky above Syria, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said in the follow-up to the talks with his colleagues from U.S., Saudi Arabia and Turkey held in Vienna.

 “At the meeting of the “four” today, I proposed our American, Saudi Arabia and Turkish partners to use this opportunity, this mechanism, on the basis of which it’s possible to solve all the issues, which do not yet allow effectively inhibiting ISIS, Jabhat-al-Nusra and other terrorist groups,” Lavrov said after the end of the talks with his colleagues on Syrian crisis, Interfax reports.

“Our partners have so far avoided doing this,” he said.  

Lavrov also reminded that the President of Russia and King of Jordan agreed to create a mechanism in Amman, where the representatives of Russian and Jordan Defense Ministries will professionally coordinate the actions on struggle with terrorism in the sky above Syria.
