Republican Hospital Chief Physician and member of the Parliament of Kabardino-Balkar Republic—which is a federal subject of Russia—, Hadis Botaev, was killed in the early morning hours on Saturday. 

An Interfax news agency source, which is close to the law enforcement agencies of the region, informed about the aforesaid.

A source of the TASS news agency of Russia also confirmed this information.

Botaev, who was a surgeon by profession, was murdered in his own home.

He was 57 years old.
