An exhibition entitled “From Ararat to Carpathians: Millennial History” will be held in Romania. The Armenian Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparian and Romanian PM Dacian Cioloș discussed this very topic during their meeting today.
Both sides conferred on the issues on the Armenian-Romanian agenda. Specifically, Gasparian raised several issues related to the coming exhibition. The latter will be held this year and will present the rich Armenian-Romanian cultural heritage, Armenia’s MFA press-service representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
Romanian PM highly appreciated the role of the Armenian community in the country’s different spheres of life. He also underscored the importance of holding such cultural events in terms of the development of bilateral relations, as well as education of the young generation. During the meeting, agreement was reached on continuing the joint work on the proper organization of the exhibition.
Besides, according to Cioloș, Romania is ready to provide comprehensive support to Armenia in the framework of the reviewed policy of the European Neighborhood, as well as other bilateral and multilateral programs.
