YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Tuesday received the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Armenia, Jassim Mohammed Mubarak Al Qasimi.
First, the PM expressed satisfaction with the course of development of mutual relations between the two countries, and he lauded the respective efforts by the UAE ambassador.
Stressing the existence of a great potential in making bilateral cooperation grow deeper, the Armenian premier considered the implementation of joint projects in several domains to be full of prospect.
Ambassador Al Qasimi, for his part, conveyed to PM Abrahamyan the warm greetings by the prime minister of the UAE, and he thanked Abrahamyan for the ongoing efforts to have closer ties between the two countries.
Noting that a number of bilateral investment projects have been implemented in 2015 and with the support of the Armenian government, the UAE diplomat expressed a conviction that effective cooperation between the governments of the two countries will contribute to the further expansion of bilateral economic relations.
Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed several matters regarding the intensification of Armenian-Emirati economic ties.
