YEREVAN. – Chief of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) of Armenia, Vahram Shahinyan, on Wednesday met with Argentine Ambassador Gonzalo Urriolabeitia.

At the request of the diplomat, Shahinyan spoke about the role and peculiarities of SIS, within the law enforcement authorities of Armenia.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed collaboration in the legal domain. 

“It’s very important for us [i.e. Argentina] to find scopes of cooperation in the fight against corruption and the protection of human rights,” Ambassador Urriolabeitia specifically noted. 

Also, they clarified the avenues for the development of cooperation.
