Due to the numerous disagreements between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member countries, the deadlines for the adoption of a single EEU customs code are not yet clear. 

Head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, Andrey Belyaninov, stated the aforesaid, according to RIA Novosti news agency of the country.

“The disagreements are quite a lot,” he noted. “[But] probably, no one is to blame for that.”

Belyaninov stated that unless a shared position is achieved among all EEU members, it will be impossible to reach a respective final decision.

“But the process is in progress,” the Russian official added.

The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
