YEREVAN. – First Deputy Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan on Friday met with Chargé d’Affaires Bogdan Tebrea of the Romanian Embassy in Armenia, and newly appointed Military Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Sandu Valerică Piroşcă, whose diplomatic residence is in the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, first, Tonoyan, congratulated Piroşcă on his accreditation to Armenia, and wished him more successes.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed Armenia-Romania bilateral collaboration in defense.

The parties confirmed their readiness to the development of military cooperation, and agreed to develop a realistic cooperation plan in defense, for the current year.

In addition, they conferred on regional security issues.
