E-voting via fingerprints is the best way to fight repeated voting.  

Aram Manukyan, Secretary of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary faction, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent. 

“According to them, the currently discussed e-voting should be carried out only by ID cards. This means nothing. During the referendum on constitutional amendments there were people, who came to the polling stations and voted with 10-20 ID cards in their hands. The e-voting can work only in one case – if the voter’s fingerprints are taken. This is exactly the way the problem can be solved,” Manukyan said.

According to the opposition MP, the version proposed by the authorities is a bluff.  “If someone’s fingerprints appear in the voter base, the same man will apparently not be able to vote for the second time. This is the most correct version of e-voting. And their bluffs, which are called e-votings, cannot solve the problems,” the Secretary noted.
