The armed forces of Turkey and Saudi Arabia on Monday commenced five-day joint military exercises, Press TV of Iran reported citing the Turkish Defense Ministry.

Turkey assures that these military maneuvers, which are conducted in Konya Province of the country, were planned beforehand.

And TASS news agency of Russia recalled that the armies of Turkey and Saudi Arabia plan to launch a ground operation in Syria.
