MOSCOW. – New Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), former Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, met with the top officials of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE); ICIE Board Chairman Vasile Tarlev, and ICIE President Victor Glukhikh.

Website of the EEC, which is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), informed the aforesaid.

The interlocutors discussed EEC-ICIE cooperation for the economic development of the EEU member countries, which are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Sargsyan underscored the establishment of business contacts with this congress. 

Also, the EEC Board chairman noted that the EEU countries are tasked with combining their industrial potential so as to produce joint products and to export them to other countries.

At the end of the talk, it was decided that the ICIE will specify the priorities for the promotion of the EEU economic integration processes, and submit to the EEC proposals on specific projects.
