YEREVAN. - The Armenian Government is interested in enhancing economic ties with friendly Italy, including through development of cooperation in the sphere of health.
Armenia PM Hovik Abrahamyan stated the aforementioned today at the meeting with the Medical Department Dean at Italy’s Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University, Rocco Bellantone, who is also the Chairman of the Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic Foundation.
Abrahamayn stressed that since the very first years of its independence, Armenia has been actively cooperating with Italy in the sphere of health, Armenian Government press-service reports.
The PM also expressed readiness to back any initiative contributing to the expansion and deepening of the Armenian-Italian economic ties.
For his part, Rocco Bellantone presented to the PM the activity of the Foundation headed by him, as well as the projects and cooperation programs with the Armenian colleagues.
