The Truth and Justice resolution on the Armenian Genocide, and which has been submitted to the US House of Representatives, currently has 60 representatives at the House.

The resolution notes that the Armenian Genocide remains unpunished to this day, informed the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA). Also, it calls on US President Barack Obama to build Armenian-Turkish relations on the basis of the recognition of Turkey’s genocide of the Armenians. 

ANCA, for its part, has urged House Speaker Paul Ryan to put this resolution on the House agenda. 

To note, another Armenian Genocide resolution currently has 20 supporters at the US Congress.
