YEREVAN. – On the sidelines of the 31st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Switzerland, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Monday met with Australia’s Special Envoy for Human Rights, Philip Ruddock.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Nalbandian and Ruddock discussed the avenues for tightening cooperation within international organizations.
During the meeting, joint steps towards the development of bilateral relations were discussed, and an importance was attached to the setting up of high-level visits.
Also, the parties commended the role of the Armenian community in Australia in the expansion of bilateral collaboration.
In addition, the interlocutors exchanged views on regional issues and the ways to resolve them.
