YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Wednesday met, in capital city Yerevan, with NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Defence Policy and Planning, Jonathan Parish.
The Ministry of Defense (MOD) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that a NATO delegation, led by Parish, is in Yerevan to coordinate the new package for Armenia’s NATO partnership objectives within the framework of the NATO-Armenia Individual Partnership Action Plan Planning and Review Process.
At the talk, the interlocutors discussed the main guidelines for Armenia-NATO cooperation in defense sector.
Ohanyan underscored the Armenian MOD’s collaboration with NATO. Parish, for his part, highly appreciated the Armenian troops’ continued participation in the NATO-led peacekeeping missions.
