YEREVAN. - The voter lists are not subject to public disclosure, the draft Electoral Code of Armenia put on the agenda of today’s Government session reads.

According to the draft, it is forbidden to copy them both in paper and electronic form, as well as reprint and take photos of them.

The electronic systems will be introduced partly. The practice of the electronic voter lists is being introduced. The mentioned lists will be submitted to precinct electoral commissions and uploaded in special technical equipment which will be provided on the ground. It must have software for the registration of voters and exclusion of repeated voting. The electronic lists will include the number of the voter in the list, his name and surname (and patronymic if there is one in the passport), year of birth, registration address, number of the district and details of the document confirming the identity.

Limited e-voting will be permitted, specifically to a number of people who are abroad on the voting day: workers of diplomatic missions, foreign representatives of Armenia-based companies and their family members. The electronic voting can be held not earlier than 5 days before the beginning of the general one.
