Four huge businessmen from the board of directors of Turkey’s Boydak Holding have been detained for providing financial assistance to the Gülen movement.

The Gülen movement is a transnational religious and social movement led by Fethullah Gülen, a Turkish Islamic opinion leader who currently lives in a self-imposed exile in the US.

Within the framework of the Kayseri Prosecutor’s Office’s ongoing investigation against Gülen, the police searched the head office of Boydak Holding, which incorporates several large furniture companies, according to Hürriyet daily newspaper of Turkey.

Also, the police took the copies of the content of the office computers. Subsequently, they detained the president of the holding as well as three huge businessmen from its board of directors.
