YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Friday convened a consultation regarding the matters that are on the agenda of Armenian-French bilateral economic cooperation.

The Ambassador of Armenia to France, Viguen Tchitetchian, delivered a respective report.  

The emphasis at the talk was placed on the current state of Armenian-French economic ties, the avenues for the development of bilateral cooperation, and the new respective directions and prospects.

Sargsyan, however, noted that the present-day volume of trade with France is not yet satisfactory.

At the end of the consultation, the Armenian President gave corresponding instructions to those in attendance and to the relevant departments, and regarding the respective matters, key issues, and plans that were discussed at the meeting.
