According to the police, the fire broke out at the Abu Dhabi Marina Yacht Club, where over 200 boats are moored. No casualties were reported.
Abu Dhabi civil defense director-general Lt. Col. Mohammed Abdul-Jalil al-Ansari said nine firefighting teams responded to the fire.
In his words, it’s unclear what sparked the fire. However, it’s known that it broke out aboard two boats before spreading to others, TASS reports.
