During the ongoing European Union (EU)-Turkey emergency summit in Brussels, Ankara stated that the Turkish authorities will agree to take back all migrants who cross into Europe from its soil, but in return for €20 billion in aid.
In addition, the Turkish party, which is represented at the summit by PM Ahmet Davutoğlu, asked to bring forward EU visa-free travel for Turkish citizens in summer, Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily newspaper of Russia reported citing Reuters news agency.
The Turkish demands, however, have raised concerns among the other summit participants.
The summit is extended due to unforeseen complications.
