The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Temir Sariyev, has banned government members from making statements that run counter to the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.  

It is reported that, in recent times, the decisions to annul government-approved bills have become frequent in Kyrgyzstan.

“We need to have a single position on the matters being discussed,” Sariyev said. “During plenary sessions of Parliament, our authorized representatives need to defend the government’s position.”

In his words, it is impermissible that a minister makes parliamentary statements that contradict government decisions.

The Kyrgyz PM assured that an investigation will be conducted in such cases.
