President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is on an official visit to Greece, made a statement on Tuesday in the Greek capital city of Greece, and following his talk with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of Greece.

In particular, Sargsyan noted that Armenians never forget the support by the fraternal Greek people, who lent a helping hand to the survivors of the Armenian Genocide, and enabled them to build and create in their new homeland.

The President added that the exhibition entitled “Armenia: The Spirit of Ararat,” and which opened at the Byzantine and Christian Museum in Athens along the lines of his visit to Greece, also attests to the centuries-old spiritual and cultural similarities between Armenia and Greece.

Also, Serzh Sargsyan noted that the security of the people of these two countries is interrelated.
