The EU continues to remain an important partner for Armenia, Armenian Economy Minister Artsvik Minasyan said today, receiving the delegation headed by the Head of the Unit of Neighbourhood East, Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission Mathieu Bousquet.

Greeting the guests, Minasyan underscored the importance of deepening cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in all possible directions. The Minister expressed gratitude to the European Union for its support to Armenia, stressing that it remains an important partner for Armenia.

Congratulating the newly appointed Minister, Mathieu Bousquet touched on reviewing the European Neighborhood Policy, the current cooperation in the framework of the Neighbourhood Investment Facility and support to be provided to Armenia in 2017-2020.
