The German Embassy in Ankara continues to remain closed after it stopped its work on March 17 in connection with the information about the threat of terrorist attack, representative of German diplomatic mission told RIA Novosti.
According to the German Foreign Ministry, the German Embassy in Ankara and the German Consulate in Istanbul remained closed for the second day over the threat of a possible attack after German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said they had received very serious intelligence about a possible terror attack against German missions in Turkey on March 16.
"Today, the Embassy is closed. It is unknown whether it will resume its work on Monday,” the representative of the German Embassy told RIA Novosti.
