YEREVAN. - The Government will do its best to support local production, Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan said at the meeting with the representatives of local manufacturers.

The state is ready to support the growth of production volumes and creation of new workplaces, he added. According to the PM, all the submitted proposals will be discussed and new measures and ways of supporting enterprises will be developed on their basis.

Hrazdan Concrete Factory CEO Naira Martirosyan and CEO of “Automatica” CJSC Rafael Grigoryan underscored the importance of the government’s support thanks to which the cement factory was able to attract necessary floating capital and create 400 new workplaces.

As to Automatica CJSC, the number of its workplaces will increase from 50 to 120 thanks to the investments.
