YEREVAN. - The Armed Forces of Armenia are ready to strictly adhere to the ceasefire on the Armenian borders and will not take any measure which can result in the escalation of the military confrontation given that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces also positively respond to the aforementioned call, the statement of the Armenian Ministry of Defense reads. The latter was made in response to the call of Personal Representative to OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador  Andrzej Kasprzyk,.  

Mr Kasprzyk earlier urged the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to strictly adhere to the ceasefire and avoid any action on the line of contact or on the border that could lead to an increase in tensions in light of the upcoming Nowruz Bayram and Easter holidays.
