YEREVAN. – The flow of migrants from Turkey to Europe is a big problem for Armenia, too.

Co-chairman of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France (CCAF), Mourad Papazian, on Wednesday stated the aforesaid at a press conference in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

“The migrants’ problems have a major impact, they have received considerable importance within the international family, and this is a problem,” he noted. “Turkey uses the issue of migrants against us [i.e. the Armenians of France]. In its talks, Turkey is putting pressure to come off victorious. On the one hand, we have closeness with [French President François] Hollande, and on the other hand, there are other interests.”

In Papazian’s words, the French Armenian community, however, is doing everything so that this does not affect the resolution of the Armenian issue.
