YEREVAN. – An interstate agreement between Armenia and Kuwait, and regarding mutual legal assistance on criminal cases, was signed Wednesday at the Government of Armenia.
Press Office of the Government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the document was signed by the Minister of Justice of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, and the Minister of Awqaf (religious properties) and Islamic Affairs of Kuwait, Minister of justice Yaqoub Abd-Almohsen Al-Sane’a.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, who was on hand at the event, underscored the signing of this agreement, and stressed that the regulation of the legal framework is also important.
In addition, Abrahamyan expressed a conviction that the exchange of knowhow and mutual visits by experts in the legal domain will strengthen Armenia-Kuwait friendship cooperation and contribute to the development of ties.
