YEREVAN. – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, continued informing his colleagues from several countries and the heads of international organizations regarding Azerbaijan’s most recent military aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh, informed the Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Nalbandian briefed his interlocutors on the aftermath of the Azerbaijani bombing and shelling of Armenian civilians and civilian objects in Karabakh.

The minister stressed that Azerbaijan combines hostilities and disinformation campaign.

“We were alerting that practical steps are needed by the international community to call Baku to order,” the Armenian FM said. “Otherwise, the aggressive stance of Azerbaijan is getting out of control, which we are witnessing today.

“The international community’s urgent and concrete steps to stabilize the situation, (…) [and] to bring Azerbaijan back to the negotiating table are most imperative, now.”

Edward Nalbandian’s interlocutors expressed their consent that the use of force is unacceptable, and that there is no alternative to a pacific resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
