YEREVAN. - The vivid proof of Azerbaijan’s large-scale military aggression is the presence of the bodies and destroyed equipment of the Azerbaijani armed forces on the Armenian side.

First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, said the aforementioned at the meeting with the EU ambassadors today.

Tonoyan briefed the ambassadors on the situation on the Line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces as a result of the aggression launched by Azerbaijan, the Defense Ministry representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The ambassador taking part in the meeting expressed deep concern about the dramatic escalation of situation on the Line of Contact during the last 24 hours.

Azerbaijan’s possible motives and its expectations from the military actions were also addressed.

Tonoyan drew the attention of the ambassadors to the high level of readiness and firmness of the Armenian servicemen, as well as the retrained and balanced actions of the Armenian side.
