Washington, DC – Americans for Artsakh (AFA) strongly condemns Azerbaijan’s renewed aggression against Artsakh. 

“We raise our voice against Azerbaijan’s full-scale aggression, and condemn use of force by Baku against Artsakh. If continued, this criminal policy of Aliyev’s despotic regime will lead to more sufferings and a humanitarian disaster", said AFA Executive Director Noel Thompson. “This is an attack of Aliyev’s tyranny against Artsakh's freedom and democracy."

“We urge President Obama and his administration to take immediate steps to stop Azerbaijan’s aggression,” stated Thompson.”We also call on the United States and the international community to unequivocally condemn Azerbaijan for renewing the hostilities. The escalation is a direct result of previous ambiguous statements, which failed to objectively mention Azerbaijan as the party responsible for regional destabilization.”
