YEREVAN. – The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council may be held in Yerevan, Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan said after his meeting with Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.

“Head of the government [of Russia –ed.] has also raised the issue, and we agreed to hold a meeting in Yerevan in the next 2-3 months. We have not made a decision so far, but will discuss it during talks tonight,” he said.

The meeting with the participation of the prime ministers of the Eurasian Union had to take place in Yerevan on April 7-8, but was moved to Moscow upon the decision of Kazakhstan – a country holding presidency of the Eurasian Union.
