Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) Committee on Foreign Relations, Artak Zakaryan, held a meeting with the European Parliament deputy (MEP) Javier Nart Monday.

The MPs discussed Armenia-EU cooperation, as well as issues related to the joint work with the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Relations.

The sides also touched on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Chairman Zakaryan briefed Mr Nart on the situation following the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan in the beginning of April, as well as the negotiation process.

Apart from this, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the domestic and foreign policy of Armenia.
