Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia agreed to increase freight volumes via Transcaspian international transport route, informed Nadir Mamedov, Azerbaijan Railways’ spokesman, on May 16. The heads of the railway companies of the three countries took part in a meeting held in Baku. 

According to Trend, in April the railway departments of three countries signed an agreement with ADY Express, KTZ Express, Trans Caucasus terminals, and ACSC Logistics to create a transport consortium. The route goes through China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, and Turkey and then to Europe.
