The EU will provide a support to Libya in security, migration, and coastal protection issue, stated the head of the EU diplomacy Federica Mogehrinin during the ministerial meeting for Libya.

Moreover, Mogherini refuted any possibility of military operations on the part of EU in Libya and weapon supplies to the Libyan authorities.

"The EU does not provide military assistance, for example in the form of supplying weapons . The only thing that can be done and we are discussing it , to teach in terms of support , especially in the areas of security , namely police, justice , border control , particularly in the coastal areas of control,” said Mogherini .

The EU also envisages to provide an aid of hundreds of millions euros for Libya , which will be invested in the reconstruction projects as soon as the National Accord receives the support of the whole country .
