Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump responded to criticism of his campaignvoiced in statements of the acting president Barack Obama.
On his Twitter Trump reminded the US leader that “ignorance is not a virtue”.
“In politics, and in life, ignorance is not a virtue." This is a primary reason that President Obama is the worst president in U.S. history,” Trump tweeted.
Obama made a speech at a graduation ceremony at Rutgers University in New Jersey on May 15. He criticized a number of Trump's proposals, in particular to build a wall on the border of the US, as well as an appeal to make America great again.
The president stated that the offer to forbid Muslims entry into the US is a betrayal of their values . “In politics, and in life, ignorance is not a virtue. It's not cool to not know what you're talking about. That's not keeping it real or telling it like it is. That's not challenging political correctness”, he noted, CNN.com writes.
