A dog called Yentl died at the age of 24 (in Kurnool County (168 years old according to human’s age). Yentl is a mixer of Jack Russell Terrier and collie.
The owners, Charlie and Marlene Martins, in 1991 purchased the dog from the previous owner for 15 pounds, who had threatened to kill the animal, if he fails to find a new home. They called the dog Yentl, after the movie of Barbara Streyzen filmed in 1983.
