Israel plans to build an underground concrete wall along Gaza Strip, reports RIA Novosti, with a reference to Yediot Ahront magazine. 60 km long fence has to solve the problem of tunnels crated by the Palestinian militants to cross the border secretly for sabotage purposes. Israel's border with the Gaza Strip is totally closed with concrete walls , alarm systems, and  lattice fences. To overcome these obstacles the Palestinian militants develop rockets and dig underground passages . In April and May , the Israeli soldiers found and destroyed two such tunnels. 

The US Deputy Secretary of State Anthony Blinken informed that the US military supports their Israeli partners in developing the anti-tunnel systems . In April, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced about a  “breakthrough” in developing technology for searching underground passages.
