In April of 2016 a resident of Juno struck a bear with his truck, without noticing that the animal was hooked by his vehicle, tells the Alaskan state police, reports the Alaska Dispatch News.

The news agency writes that Thomas hit a large bear with his truck, after which it had gotten caught by the hook at the front of the truck and gotten stuck to the front spindle of the truck. Willis did not stop the car and continued driving after he had collided the bear. The next day, when Willis went to work he noticed the body of the bear under his car.

Together with the police they pulled out the body of the bear from beneath the vehicle. Willis was later summoned to the court for not immediately disclosing his collision with the large bear.
