A group of American researchers presented the most probable versions of the mankind’s destruction, reports the Science. The experts say that the "end of the world" can happen for three reasons - volcanic eruptions, solar activity, or collision of an asteroid. According to the first version, due to super volcanic eruptions, the continents will be covered with one-meter layer ash, waters will get polluted, and plants will be destroyed. According to the second version, the mankind will face a strong stream of high-energy particles due to solar activity. Scientists believe that as a result, the world may appear in darkness and will be destroyed. The third scenario is a collision with an asteroid, which is no less dangerous. According to estimates, if a celestial body with a diameter of one-kilometer  falls on the Earth, there will appear clouds of dust, which will deprive the  planet of sunlight for several months. The scientists encourage that the consequences of those three disasters can be minimized by taking timely steps.
