At least one person was killed and 14 were injured as a result of the attack by unidentified gunmen on one of the checkpoints of the militarized troops near Larkana in southern Pakistan, Xinhua reported.

Unknown fighters attacked the checkpoint in the district of Larkana in south Sindh province using the remote explosive device, and then fled the scene.

According to police officers, the explosive device was on a bicycle parked next to the checkpoint. The injured people, including four soldiers and eight civilians, were taken to hospital. After the incident, two suspects were detained.
