Bus carrying journalists between Olympic venues in Rio de Janeiro was pelted with rocks. As a result of the incident nobody was seriously injured,  BBC reported.

At first it was reported that the bus was fired from a firearm, however later it became clear that unknown people threw stones. Two windows of the bus were broken, some journalists who were in the cabin received minor cuts.

The police arrived at the site and accompanied the bus to the press center. As the International Olympic Committee reported, local authorities began incident investigation.
