In 2053 the population of the Earth will reach 10 billion. However, in the meantime, the population of Russia and Ukraine will reduce by 7.9 and 9 million respectively, whereas of the population of Japan will reduce by 24.7 million, which is a record number, reports the US Population Reference Bureau (PRB):

According to the expectations of the PRB, the population of the world in 2050 will reach 9.9 billion and will be 10 billion in 2053. The greatest population growth is expected in Africa. It will reach 2.5 billion. The population of America and Asia will increase by 223 million and 900 million respectively, whereas the number of people living in Europe will decrease by almost 12 million.
