The German Foreign Ministry prepared a "Concept of Civil Protection," which obliges the German residents to have a supply of food and water for 10 days in case of emergency situations, such as a military attack or disaster, reports the Kedem. In the near future the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will discuss this concept with the German government. The presented initiative  is a preventive measure and is intended to help people to properly prepare for situations that might cause threats to health and life. It has been undertaken due to the fact that Germany is now in a state of high alertness of the recent terrorist attacks.
