A police officer shot and killed a 13-year-old boy in Columbus, Ohio. As SkyNews reported, the police arrived at the scene in response to a call about an armed robbery.
According to the local police, a group of unknown males approached a man brandishing a weapon and demanding money. Police officers spotted three suspects who matched the description of suspected armed robbers. But the attempt failed as they fled. During the persecution one of them pulled out a gun. The police officers opened fire. A 13-year-old teenager Tyree King died in hospital.
Later, it became clear that the police mistook the teen's BB gun for a real gun.
