In the middle of October an Armenian park will be open in Riga, wrote Fr. Ter Khosrov in his Facebook page, reports the Sputnik- Latvia. According to him, there will be children's attractions and a beautiful landscape design ; the park will be named after Armenia 's capital Yerevan .

The opening of the park is scheduled on October 15. The park will be next to the Armenian church in Riga. In summer the St. Gregory the Illuminator church  celebrated its fifth anniversary. In Latvia there are about 3 thousand Armenians, that is more than one tenth of Latvia’s population ( 0.15 percent ) . Half of Latvia’s Armenians live in Riga.
