YEREVAN. – A tasting of Armenian wines was held in Belgium, within the framework of the events devoted to the 25th anniversary of independence of Armenia.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Armenia to Belgium , and Armenia’s trade representative to the European Union (EU), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

More than 300 senior officials from the EU and Belgium as well as representatives of the business and public circles of Belgium had the opportunity to taste Armenian wines.

The event organizers noted that the objective of this event is to contribute to raising the EU market’s awareness of the Armenian wine sector, promote the growth of Armenian wine exports to this market, and find new respective business new partners.
